"Experiences and Challenges of Croatia's Hydrometeorological Service" Ivan Cacic, Director, Croatian Hydrometerological Service Mr. Cacic was a forecaster for the DHMZ for 15+ years before moving into an administrative role this decade. He is heavily involved in the international meteorological community, both within Europe and globally. His background covers research, broadcast and operational meteorology. He will speak to our group about the unique experiences of the Croatian weather service during his tenure as a forecaster and administrator, and the challenges and opportunities the DHMZ faces in light of its ongoing modernization.
